Mini Vacation in Rocky Point, Mexico

In May during my sister and brother-in-laws visit, we had the amazing opportunity to go to Rocky Point, Mexico and stay in a condo for FREE! It was beautiful and we had a glorious two days there. The biggest decisions we had to make were what to eat, and whether or not to go to the beach or the pool which were both directly out the back door.

Being Like Bear Grylls

One of Levi's favorite shows is Man vs. Wild with Bear Grylls on the Discovery channel. Bear gets dropped off in remote places and his goal is to get back to civilization all the while showing you how to survive. He does all kinds of crazy things and has to eat all kinds of gross things, one of them being snakes! And sometimes he bites the heads off snakes and eats the rest raw! It's totally gross but of course my boys love it. We may have a future Bear Grylls on our hands...

A Big Boy Room for Levi

We wanted to show you Levi's new room! He loves his new big boy bed and the tent you see is our birthday present to him. It actually fits a twin size bed and can be strapped to the mattress so it'll be like he's sleeping in a tent! We haven't tried that yet because we're not sure he'll actually sleep so we're enjoying it on the floor right now.

Birthday Party Friends

Here are some pics of Levi and his friends at his birthday party. The girl he's with here is named Kylie and we're pretty sure he likes her a lot. Jason said at one point during the party he came over and asked for some M&Ms. Jason gave him some and he proceeded to carry them over and give them to Kylie! It's already started and he already knows that the way to a woman's heart is through CHOCOLATE! :)

Happy 3rd Birthday Levi

We had a great time hosting Levi's 3rd birthday party at the house. We were supposed to go to the park which is just a block away, but the wind was atrocious
and so we just opted to play at the house

instead. It was a Hot Wheels theme and I had fun making a race track cake with candy bar cars and all. We feel very blessed to already have so many people who love us and enjoyed having so many of them join us to help us celebrate Levi's birthday. The Thomas train he's playing with is his very first and he loves it! Hope you enjoy the pictures! He's so big!!!!
